Mrs. Jennifer Wren is the Head Band Director at Kleb Intermediate School in Klein ISD where she teaches the beginner brass classes, the Symphonic Band, the Concert B Band, and assists with the Concert A Band. Mrs. Wren was previously the Assistant Band Director at Doerre Intermediate in Klein ISD. Mrs. Wren is a proud product of Klein ISD schools, having attended Ehrhardt, Doerre, and Klein High School. She earned her Bachelor of Music Education from the University of Houston, where she graduated summa cum laude, and her Masters of Music in Conducting from Sam Houston State University.
Mrs. Wren was nominated four times for Teacher of the Year and was named a Texas Exes Rising Star in Teaching. While at Doerre, bands under Mrs. Wren's direction received Sweepstakes Awards at UIL as well as First Division ratings and Best in Class distinctions at South Coast Music Festival and Gator Music Festival. She was a co-founder of the Doerre Symphony Orchestra in 2012, which received consistent Sweepstakes at UIL, placed as second runner-up and runner-up at the Texas Music Educators Association Honor Orchestra Competition, and was selected as a Midwest Performing Group in 2014.
Mrs. Wren's professional affiliations include the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Bandmasters Association, and Pi Kappa Lamba music honor society. In her free time, Mrs. Wren plays French Horn with the Woodlands Concert Band. Her husband, Joel, is a trombone player and Assistant Principal at Klein High School. They live in The Woodlands, Texas with their dogs Franzie and Scout.

Mrs. King is beginning her 18th year of teaching band and she is a former Klein ISD graduate, having attended Lemm, Hildebrandt, and Klein Oak. Her family has a significant history in Klein ISD starting with her grandmother and father both graduating from Klein High School. Her mother taught for over 30 years in Klein ISD and was the Living History Educator for Klein ISD. She attended Sam Houston State University and her primary instrument is flute. Mrs. King will be teaching Concert A Band, all beginner woodwind and percussion classes, and assisting with Symphonic Band. Before coming to Kleb Intermediate, Mrs. King taught in Aldine ISD and Spring ISD. Her husband is also a band director and they live in Tomball with their three children and four cats.
